|Abstract:||This study aims to identify human resources management practices and their impact on sustainable development in the Port of Salalah in the Sultanate of Oman. The researcher followed the analytical descriptive approach to describe and analyse human resources and its impact on sustainable development and the performance of employees as intermediary. (Salalah Port) in the Sultanate of Oman to achieve sustainable development through the performance of its employees, where there are difficulties and obstacles in the instability of employees in the institution and the existence of levels of dissatisfaction with the system of incentives and bonuses. The importance of the study is that it deals with a vital topic in the field of human resource management practices and its impact on sustainable development through the performance of employees due to the important role played by the human resources management practices required by the business organizations alike. The study population consists of the workers in (Salalah Port) in the Sultanate of Oman totalling (2200) people. A random sample of the study society was chosen from (Genaral Managers, their Deputies, Department Directors, their Duputies , Supervisors, Head of Department and employees) in the Port of Salalah in Oman totalling (327). Then (327) questionnaires were distributed to all the sample of the study. A total of (322) questionnaires were retrieved for statistical analysis, ie , a recovery rate of (98.5%), all of which were subjected to analysis (Human Resource planning, polarization, recruitment, training and development) on sustainable development at the level of significance (0.05), and the absence of a statiscally significant impact on sustainable development at the level of moral significance (0.05), in addition to a direct and non-direct effect (0.05). The current study recommended several recommendations, among which is that the employees in any institution should be considered as the considered as the dynamic force in the work, and without them there is no value added to work. Salalah Port should pay more attention to workers in all aspects through compensation, social aspects, benefits and labour services in society.|
